Job summary

SEB, a leading financial services group, seeks a Solution Developer with Test Automation in Solna. You will develop and maintain high-quality IT solutions, covering requirements, analysis, design, coding and testing, with a focus on test automation and manual testing where needed.

You will work in a high-performing, T-shaped agile team of developers and testers, where curiosity about AI, collaboration, and strong English communication are valued for continuous improvement and delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in C# and T-SQL, contributing to development and test automation
• Strong understanding of coding standards and software development best practices
• Curiosity about AI with initiative to deepen knowledge
• Analytical mindset focused on improving test automation and quality
• Ability to debug using logs, config files, and code; collaborate with devs and testers
• Experience in Agile environments, preferably SAFe, participating in refinement and delivery
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• Experience in finance regulatory reporting is meritorious

About the role:

As a Solution Developer with Test Automation, you will develop and maintain high quality IT solutions (includes e.g., requirements, analysis & design, coding and testing). This role also focusses on implementing and improving our test automations as well as performing manual tests where automation is not possible. You will be part of T-shaped agile team of developers and testers where everyone is contributing to achieving our team goals.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• Proven hands-on experience in C# and T‑SQL, with the ability to contribute to both development, test automation and test activities
• Strong understanding of coding standards and software development best practices.
• A strong curiosity about AI, with initial experience and a clear ambition to continuously explore and deepen your knowledge.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement of test automation, engineering processes, and quality standards
• Ability to debug and analyze issues using logs, configuration files, and code, and to document and track defects in collaboration with other developers and testers
• Experience working in Agile environments (preferably SAFe), actively participating in refinement, estimation, and delivery of features
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• A coaching mindset and are ready to share knowledge with the rest of the team
• Great communication skills and fluency in English
• Experience in finance regulatory reporting is meritorious
