Job description

Are you our new Technology Risk & Quality Specialist?

Are you passionate about how technology can support the business in the best way possible? Do you have an eye for detail and believe that small, continuous improvements can lead to significant long-term impact? Then this could be the right role for you.

As a Technology Risk & Quality Specialist, you will be part of the PwC SE Tech Governance & Compliance. This role combines a strong understanding of technology with a solid foundation in risk, compliance and assurance. You will contribute to how our quality and compliance frameworks are implemented, maintained and developed across the organization.

You will join at a stage where key parts of the framework are still evolving, giving you a unique opportunity to shape how we work going forward. Acting as a connector across teams, you will drive improvements, enable structured delivery and support stakeholders in adopting new ways of working.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Enhance and implement the PwC SE Technology rulebook across the IT lifecycle
  • Drive the development, implementation and maintenance of the quality management system (QMS)
  • Support IT delivery teams in applying compliance frameworks and control mechanisms (e.g. ISO standards)
  • Drive management testing efforts across compliance areas
  • Work cross-functionally with IT, Risk & Quality and business teams
  • Drive quality monitoring, KPIs and data quality in key systems such as CMDB and ServiceNow
  • Contribute to ways of working related to ITIL processes and agile delivery

This role combines both building new capabilities and maintaining existing structures, with a strong focus on creating continuous improvements and enabling compliance across the organization.

Success in this role is reflected by your ability to create momentum, ownership and visible impact across teams early on.

What are we looking for in this position?

We are looking for someone who is structured, pragmatic and able to drive work independently in a complex, cross-functional environment.

To succeed in this role, you bring:
  • ~5+ years of experience within IT compliance, risk management, cyber or information security
  • Hands-on experience implementing quality or compliance frameworks in practice
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and governance structures
  • Experience with standards such as ISO27001 and ISQM1
  • Familiarity with IT frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT
  • Experience working with tools such as ServiceNow and/or dedicated GRC systems
  • Fluent English (mandatory), Swedish not required, but a plus
We also value:
  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. banking or insurance)
  • Experience within ITGC or audit-related environments
  • Product or project management experience
  • Proven experience of implementing and maintaining quality management systems
As a person, you are:
  • A self-starter who takes ownership and drives progress
  • Pragmatic, with the ability to balance detail and the bigger picture
  • A strong communicator who can simplify complex topics
  • Comfortable influencing stakeholders and driving change without relying on formal authority
  • Structured and solution-oriented, with a collaborative mindset

You enjoy combining hands-on work with driving improvements and enabling others to succeed.

Greetings from the team

“Joining the Tech risk & compliance team is a great way to learn about and support all parts of our organisation! You will work closely with teams and stakeholders, both in IT and throughout the organisation, to navigate, evaluate and change ways of working as needed to achieve our quality objectives.”
– Daniel Eriksson, Area Tech Lead, Governance & Compliance
