Quantexa is seeking a Banking Field Engineer/Senior Solution Architect to join our team in Sweden. The role is based in Stockholm with remote flexibility and occasional travel to customer sites.

You will lead discovery sessions, design tailored solutions, and guide deployments that address real-world banking challenges. You’ll work with product, delivery, and partners to ensure value delivery and expansion.

The opportunity.

This role will be based in Stockholm on a remote basis, with co-working spaces available, and will require travel to customer sites where appropriate.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as a functional expert in Quantexa’s platform and products, with a strong understanding of its capabilities and how they can be applied to real-world banking challenges.
• Bring a strong understanding of banking practices, regulatory environments and industry challenges, helping customers identify opportunities, gaps and risks that Quantexa can address.
• Lead discovery sessions with customers, prospects and partners to understand business challenges, technical requirements and desired outcomes.
• Work with customers, partners and internal teams to design and refine tailored solutions, ensuring the approach is aligned to the customer’s needs and objectives.
• Advise customers and internal teams on enterprise deployment options and technical decisions, helping to shape solutions that are scalable, practical and fit for purpose.
• Act as a key member of the account team for selected strategic banking customers, helping to define account strategy and drive long-term business value through the Quantexa platform.
• Own the strategy and vision for Decision Intelligence across the customer enterprise, helping senior stakeholders understand how Quantexa can support their broader business objectives.
• Work closely with Product, Delivery and strategic partners to ensure alignment with customer goals, adherence to agreed Blueprints and successful delivery, value realisation and expansion.
• Drive operational adoption of the Quantexa platform, ensuring customers are able to realise ongoing value from their investment.
• Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships, establishing appropriate governance and acting as a trusted strategic partner to key stakeholders.
• Support renewal and expansion opportunities, identifying where Quantexa can deliver additional value across the customer organisation.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the Banking Field Engineering function, sharing expertise, supporting colleagues and helping shape how the team works as it scales.

What You’ll Bring.

• Customer Focus: Your dedication to understanding customer needs is paramount. You consistently align with the core problems at hand, ensuring you grasp both the broader picture and the intricate details. You communicate effectively with senior level business and technology customers and convey confidence in sharing your perspectives. You are adept at helping customers define a strategic roadmap that enables them to realize the value of their Quantexa products.
• Technology Expertise: You will understand data or specialise in one of our solution domains within banking, including data management, financial crime, risk management, fraud detection or customer intelligence. You have platform implementation experience, understand the challenges faced by customers, and bring credibility through proven results.
• Relationship Management: You have significant experience working with clients and a proven aptitude for fostering and nurturing executive relationships. Customers should feel assured of your dedication, viewing you as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
• Consultative Approach: With an analytical mindset, you evaluate challenges from various perspectives. Collaborative in nature, you work alongside customers and internal teams to delineate and implement the most effective solutions. You have experience in a consulting role and are comfortable working with internal teams and customers to bring value.
• Scaling Teams: You have experience working across functions to create effective collaboration, driving best practices, and can provide clear and concise customer feedback to internal teams.
• You’ll be a team player internally across Quantexa teams and externally, building strong relationships is core as we are better as a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a track record of effective customer engagement
• Great communicator, able to captivate audiences of all sizes with an innate ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Significant experience in a commercially focused technical role, such as Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Sales or Value Consulting.
• Strong experience working with data and technology platforms within the banking sector, whether through implementation, delivery or direct use.
• Experience setting and delivering against a long-term vision and roadmap.
• Strong product and technology expertise within the banking industry, with the credibility to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required for customer and business needs.

Required

• Fluent in both Swedish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
