Job summary

ALTEN Sverige AB in Sweden seeks a Technical Writer to craft and maintain maintenance and modification documentation for complex systems, collaborating with engineering, design, and field teams to ensure accurate, legally compliant content.

You will create system diagrams, support CAD illustrations, oversee translation workflows, and ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements while integrating feedback from operations and DCNs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of CAD experience (CATIA/CREO) for technical illustration.
• Strong background in technical writing (maintenance instructions, specifications, system documentation).
• Experience in authoring environments for documentation and issue tracking.
• Knowledge of legal requirements for maintenance and technical information.
• Experience with translation management processes.
• Ability to manage feedback loops from field operations and DCNs.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation for maintenance and modification activities.
• Produce clear and accurate system diagrams and technical illustrations.
• Work with CAD tools to support visual documentation.
• Handle feedback from field operations and integrate Design Change Notices (DCNs).
• Ensure documentation compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage translation workflows (exports, imports, quotations).
