Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Ludvika invites applications for a Technical Sales Training Program. The program starts in the engineering department for on-load tap-changers to build deep product knowledge before transitioning into Marketing and Sales roles worldwide.

Over roughly 18 months you will blend theory and practice, work on technical sales support, type testing and offers, and develop electrical and mechanical expertise while collaborating with customers and other functions.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical engineering, Energy systems, Mechanical Engineering or similar with commercial interest and customer interaction.
• Good communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Engaged, determined and service-minded; able to work independently and in a team.
• Curious and driven to continuously develop.
• Genuine interest in making the future of energy more sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Develop product and company knowledge through the program.
• Engage with supervisors and mentors to develop technical and sales skills.
• Participate in activities such as type testing, engineering, technical sales support and commercial tasks.
• Collaborate with other functions within the company and with customers.
• Support preparation of technical/commercial offers and proposals.
