Job summary

Swedium Global is seeking a senior Technical Process Engineer to lead hands-on completion work in a heat pump project in Sweden. You will review designs, close gaps, and ensure process and mechanical solutions align with contracts and technical specs while coordinating with management, suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in process engineering, system design, and mechanical design.
• Experience from the energy sector, process industry, or large-scale power plants.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Operationally drive and execute engineering work to complete and close open technical items in the project.
• Ensure a coherent process and system design throughout the project, including P&ID, component selection, and piping systems for the included subsystems.
• Review, quality assure, and structure technical documentation prior to final delivery.
• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure technical deliveries are completed according to schedule and targets.

About the Role In this role, you will step directly into an ongoing and complex project within heat pump technology. Your primary focus will be hands‑on completion work, meaning that you will review the existing design, identify any gaps, and ensure that all process and mechanical solutions are seamlessly aligned with contracts and technical specifications. You will work with reviews, problem‑solving, and completion of several key subsystems such as refrigerant systems, lubrication oil systems, cooling systems, instrument air systems, and related auxiliary and support equipment such as detection systems. As the project is in an intensive final phase, high demands are placed on your ability to work in a focused manner under time pressure without compromising structure and quality. You will work closely with project management, suppliers, and internal functions, becoming the central technical force ensuring that documentation, system design, and functionality maintain the right quality all the way to delivery.

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Experience with refrigerant systems/cooling technology.
