Job summary

Arabelle Solutions is seeking a Technical Field Advisor to join our Nordics Field Service team. You will travel to customer sites as a technical expert, focusing on steam turbine and generator maintenance in nuclear power plants.

You will guide internal teams and customers, produce detailed reports, mentor field staff, and help plan outages while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Technical university degree or equivalent and relevant maintenance experience.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• Experience with steam turbines and generators including ABB/GE/Alstom platforms.
• Knowledge of blading and rotor/stator rewinding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for installation, maintenance, and operation of turbines and generators at customer sites.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation to high standards.
• Mentor, coach, and train field service team members.
• Assist in outage planning and tendering work.
• Oversee safety, quality, and on-site performance; manage smaller teams.

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Technical Field Advisor (TFA) to join our Nordics Field Service team. In this role, you will travel to customer sites as a technical expert, playing a key role in steam turbine & generator maintenance in nuclear power plants. You will provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers, ensuring high-quality execution of maintenance activities.

With a strong commitment to quality, environmental, health, and safety standards, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical reports and documentation to the highest standards. In some cases, you will serve as the most senior representative on-site, managing smaller teams and overseeing operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support for the installation, maintenance, and operation of steam turbines, generators and auxiliary systems at customer sites.
• Perform administrative tasks, including writing technical reports, preparing detailed job instructions, assisting in outage planning, and supporting tendering work.
• Mentor, coach, and train other field service team members.
• Assist in developing outage schedules to ensure efficient execution.
• Oversee and ensure high-quality work from team members.
• Promote and enforce adherence to safety standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Technical university degree, Higher Vocational Education, or extensive experience in steam turbine and generators maintenance.
• Fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
• Proven skills In Steam turbine (ABB/BBC, GE, Alstom Technology) & Generators (GTD technology) maintenance.
• Knowledge of blading and rotor/stator rewinding is considered an asset.
