Job summary

Siemens Energy in Finspång seeks a Technical Area Manager for medium voltage equipment within Development & Standards. You will lead the MV area, shape standardized solutions for gas turbine packages, and support product development projects throughout the lifecycle.

You will collaborate across departments, engage suppliers, and contribute to bid management while driving process improvements and skills development in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in generators and power grids.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, self-motivated mindset.
• Structured, adaptable, able to work independently while meeting milestones.
• Understanding of product lifecycle, quality and cost management.
• Experience with Teamcenter and Microsoft Office.
• Experience from gas turbines, heavy machinery, or electric generators is a merit.
• Fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the medium voltage area within Development & Standards, with focus on standardized solutions.
• Develop and maintain standardized technical solutions for gas turbine portfolio.
• Deliver work aligned with strategy, schedule and quality targets.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and training within the department.
• Gain hands-on experience in product development, project delivery and support.
• Influence project organization and execution across the department.
