Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar leadership role in software teams.
• Strong Java backend development experience and Spring Boot expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript in modern backend/frontend contexts.
• Solid AWS experience, especially serverless architectures.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and software design principles.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in scalable systems.
• Experience with asynchronous programming patterns and messaging.
• Hands-on GitHub usage for source control and collaboration.
• Unix/Linux environments experience for deployment and ops.
• Practical knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong CI/CD and automated delivery pipelines implementation experience.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.

About the Assignment

We are looking for a highly experienced Tech Lead with a strong background in Java, cloud technologies, and software architecture for a long-term assignment based in Gothenburg.This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will combine software development with architectural responsibilities. You will contribute to both the implementation of solutions and the technical direction of the wider platform.The role is well suited to someone who enjoys working close to the code while also being comfortable discussing architecture, making technical decisions, and guiding other developers.You will work in a modern DevOps environment together with several development teams. The organization follows an agile way of working with short development iterations and longer planning cycles.

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Technical Lead, Team Lead, Lead Developer, or similar
• Strong professional experience with Java backend development
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript
• Solid experience with AWS, particularly serverless technologies
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and software design
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with asynchronous programming
• Practical experience with GitHub
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
