Job summary

PHINIA Sweden AB in Åmål is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to head the Design and Test team. You will oversee planning, prioritization, and execution of work, aligning team objectives with business goals while driving technical excellence and responsible use of resources and budget.

You will mentor engineers, foster collaboration in a dynamic development environment, and contribute to continuous improvement and performance reviews. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in leadership roles
• Strong English communication
• Knowledge of mechatronics, preferably within the automotive industry
• Experience from product development projects is advantageous

Job Purpose

To lead and develop the Design and Test team by ensuring effective planning, prioritization, and execution of work, while fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, high performance, and employee development. The role is responsible for aligning team efforts with company goals, driving technical excellence, and ensuring efficient use of resources and budget.

Pay Range

684 000,00 - 855 000,00 - 1 026 000,00 SEK Annual
