Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven Systems Engineer to join our Giraffe 1X team. In this role, you will play a key role in the design of our cutting-edge radar system with special focus on software architectures for our next-generation radar systems. We have today a product in great demand from market, and going forward we are looking into increasing our software offering to suit our ever-growing customer base.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into system requirements for robust and scalable software architectures
• Design subsystem interfaces, such as Platforms, Applications, Command and Control, Mechanics, Power, Antenna high frequency function etc. to ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, test) to ensure seamless integration of software components
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in software architecture and radar systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software architecture design and development, in roles such as Enterprise architect, Solution architect or Software architect, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Meritous

• Experience with radar systems or signal processing.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems and embedded software development.
• Knowledge of system engineering frameworks

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
