We provide advanced computing and data services to researchers across all faculties of the university, including science, engineering, medicine, economics, humanities and social sciences. We operate modern HPC clusters, visualisation resources and advanced storage systems, and continuously develop new services for interactive and data‑driven research. Our environment includes both traditional HPC infrastructure and modern platforms for container‑based and cloud‑adjacent workflows.

We offer

As a Swedish government agency, Lund University offers attractive employment terms, generous vacation benefits, favourable pension schemes, flexible working hours, and the option to work partly remotely. • User support for researchers and research projects
  • Installation and optimisation of scientific software
  • Participation in development projects related to new services and infrastructures
  • Technology scouting and evaluation of new technologies within HPC, AI and cloud infrastructure

  • Experience working in agile development or operations environments
  • Cloud infrastructure and virtualisation
  • Experience with Git, code review processes and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with collaboration and development platforms such as GitLab and CI/CD workflows
  • Distributed storage systems and parallel file systems such as IBM Storage Scale (GPFS)
  • High‑performance networking technologies, for example, InfiniBand
  • GPU‑based systems and AI/ML infrastructure
