Job summary

Ericsson AB is building an AI-powered engineering platform within the RAN organization in Sweden. The role focuses on data engineering for design intent, metadata, governance, and analytics, bridging system design with software implementation.

You will work at the intersection of AI, software architecture, and systems engineering. You will design robust data pipelines, ensure secure handling, and collaborate with architects and product teams to deliver scalable, production-grade data solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or closely related software engineering role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases, schema design and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and components delivering trusted data to product teams.
• Develop and operate platform-based, event-driven data workflows.
• Build orchestrated data processing workflows using Prefect or equivalent.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable data solutions.
• Drive data ingestion, transformation, validation, and quality assurance frameworks.
• Contribute to data catalogue, metadata, and lineage capabilities.
