Job summary

GlobalLogic in Gothenburg is seeking an experienced automotive software engineer to lead maintenance and feature development in driver information and infotainment domains. You will collaborate with suppliers to define testable specifications and ensure backward compatibility across platform cars.

The role involves working with ADAS-related requirements, applying testing best practices, and taking end-to-end accountability for product quality.

Qualifications

• In-depth automotive electronics and Driver Information domain knowledge required.
• Hands-on experience with ADAS function requirements and supplier coordination.
• Proficient with MATLAB/Simulink and Vector tools CANoe/CANalyzer.
• Experience creating and executing test plans and automated scripts.
• Valid Driving License B is required.
• Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.

Lead and manage the maintenance and development of new features in current platform cars, including backwards compatibility software ensuring reliable functional coverage for the Driver Information domain.

Lead and manage the maintenance and development of new features in current platform cars, including backwards compatibility software ensuring reliable functional coverage for the Driver Information domain.

Today there is an ongoing project of developing new functions in current cars on the market and the goal is to finalize that project.

The assignment includes working with requirements related to ADAS functions and in close collaboration with suppliers. Considering testing when defining requirements is also needed.

Driving license B is needed.

Requirements

Must have:

• Domain Knowledge: In-depth background in automotive electronics, infotainment systems, and the Driver Information domain.
• ADAS & Requirements Engineering: Hands-on experience working with ADAS function requirements, supplier coordination, and defining specifications with testability in mind.
• Software Tooling: Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink along with Vector tools (CANoe and CANalyzer).
• Testing & Automation: Proven track record in creating and executing test plans/cases, regression testing, and developing or optimizing automated test scripts.
• Driving License: Valid Driving License B.
• Education: Degree in Automotive Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ownership & Project Finalization: Proven capability to lead maintenance/feature development, manage supplier deliverables, and take end-to-end accountability for product quality.
