Job summary

Infosys is seeking a System Architect for Gothenburg to drive end-to-end system architecture for Trucks, Functions and Software Defined Vehicle. You will lead across hardware, software and system integrations, ensuring scalable, robust solutions across multiple domains.

The role requires deep expertise in SDV-related architecture, safety, cybersecurity and connectivity, with leadership experience guiding global teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in system engineering, product development, or architecture.
• Strong expertise in requirements engineering, design, integration and architecture development.
• Proven record leading complex cross-functional programs and technical teams.
• Knowledge of SDV, E/E Architecture, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, Connectivity, and cloud-enabled vehicle tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system level functional specs and requirements.
• Define complete system architecture, solution concepts, and integration strategies.
• Coordinate end-to-end function owners across teams.
• Lead system decomposition and allocation to subsystems and components.
• Evaluate components, technologies, and design options.
• Coordinate integration across Vehicle, Powertrain, Chassis, Connectivity, ADAS, Energy and Digital Services domains.
• Ensure architecture compliance with ISO 26262, ISO 21434, ASPICE, UNECE R155/R156 and customer processes.
• Lead technical reviews, governance, and engineering best practices.

Role Overview

The System Architect - Senior Expert is responsible for defining and driving end-to-end system architecture, functional specifications, and system requirements aligned with overall product objectives. This role provides technical leadership across the complete product lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and system functions while delivering scalable, robust, and future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system level functional specifications and requirements based on product needs.
• Define complete system architecture, solution concepts, and integration strategies.
• Manage global function targets and coordinate end-to-end function owners across teams.
