Location: Skövde, Sweden

About The AssignmentWe are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to maintain and develop a business-critical Order & Planning application within the automotive industry.

You will work with complex .NET applications, system integrations and production-critical processes, ensuring reliable order distribution and planning flows. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams while contributing to continuous improvements and AI-supported ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain order management and planning applications.
• Understand order flows, production planning and business requirements.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
• Analyze and resolve system and integration issues.
• Ensure reliable handling of business rules and production-critical processes.
• Drive AI adoption and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.

Required Experience

• Software development experience within the automotive industry.
• Experience with order management, production planning, material supply or sequencing.
• Understanding of production, logistics and customer delivery processes.
• Experience with high-volume, business-critical applications.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Technical Requirements

• Strong C# and .NET Framework 4.8.
• ASP.NET, WCF, Windows Services and Windows Forms.
• SQL Server, ADO.NET, Entity Framework and EF Core.
• .NET 10, OData and Swagger.
• MSMQ or IBM WebSphere MQ.
• MSTest, Azure DevOps and CI/CD.

Experience with Unity, AutoMapper, Splunk, Serilog, Telerik UI and SSDT is beneficial.

Location & Working Arrangement

The assignment is based in Skövde, Sweden, with regular on-site presence required to support collaboration with the team and business stakeholders.
