Job summary

Aurora Engineering AB in Göteborg, Sweden, is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Application Engineer to join an agile team focusing on embedded software development, driver interaction, and automotive HMI systems.

You will develop embedded software in C/C++, work with AUTOSAR-based systems and ISO 26262 requirements, and participate in the complete software lifecycle, including CI/CD and automated regression testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C and AUTOSAR.
• Experience defining and implementing ISO 26262 requirements.
• Proficient in C++, Qt, Linux/Yocto.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet and SOME/IP protocols.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD practices.
• Automotive or commercial vehicle experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify driver interaction functions, including instrument clusters, displays, switches, and controls.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements to implementation, testing, and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and contribute to CI/CD and automated regression testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C and AUTOSAR.
• Experience defining and implementing ISO 26262 requirements.
