Job summary

Viaplay Group in Stockholm is seeking an SVOD Content Planning Manager to own the strategic planning of acquired SVOD content. You will translate audience data, performance metrics, and investment priorities into a clear annual and quarterly plan while leading the Content Planning team across Movies, Series, Factual, and Kids.

You will work with Content, Acquisitions, Editorial and Strategy to keep the portfolio balanced, competitive, and optimized for performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in content planning, strategy, media, streaming, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive planning processes.
• Strong analytical skills translating data and audience insights into recommendations.
• Experience managing portfolios, budgets, and investment decisions.
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual and quarterly master plan for acquired SVOD content.
• Define content pacing, tentpole moments, priority windows, and initiatives.
• Analyze viewing performance and audience behavior to identify opportunities.
• Evaluate portfolio performance against targets and adjust as needed.
• Identify opportunities to optimize investments through business cases and scenarios.
• Translate performance needs into acquisition priorities and timing requirements.
• Monitor plans and investments against budgets and flag risks/opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and develop the SVOD Content Planning team and establish priorities.
• Act as a cross‑functional stakeholder linking strategy, acquisitions, investments and editorial.
