Job summary

Oriola Sweden AB is seeking a Demand & Supply Planning Specialist to ensure optimal stock availability through replenishment planning, demand forecasting and inventory management. You will analyse sales data, manage replenishment activities, and support supply chain optimization.

This temporary full-time role based in Stockholm involves collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to maintain efficient inventory flows and drive service level improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, economics or equivalent.
  • Experience or strong interest in demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory management.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Replenishment planning – ensuring products are available at the right time and in the right quantities.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain inventory control and forecasting models.
  • Monitor stock levels while balancing service levels and capital efficiency.
  • Analyse supply chain performance, track KPIs, and propose improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with logistics, IT, retail, quality assurance, and key account management.

About the Role

As a Demand & Supply Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal stock availability through replenishment planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management. You will analyse sales data, manage replenishment activities, and support supply chain optimization efforts. The role requires close collaboration with suppliers, internal departments, and customers to maintain efficient and reliable inventory flows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Replenishment planning – ensuring products are available at the right time and in the right quantities
  • Develop, manage, and maintain inventory control and forecasting models
  • Monitor stock levels while balancing service levels and capital efficiency
  • Analyse supply chain performance, track KPIs, and propose improvement initiatives
  • Conduct overstock reviews and campaign planning
  • Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and supply chain performance updates to management
  • Participate in development and improvement projects
  • Collaborate with various teams including logistics, IT, retail, quality assurance, and key account management
  • Maintain supplier relationships and ensure smooth coordination of supply chain processes

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, economics, or a related field or equivalent competence acquired through other education and work experience
  • Previous experience or strong interest in demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, logistics, and/or purchasingProficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems and forecasting and replenishment tools is a plus
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Terms of Employment
