Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of quality methods such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA and Six Sigma.
• Understanding of production processes and systematic problem solving.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3; ISO 26262 is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and project-leading capabilities.

Responsibilities

Overview

Inmotion is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer with additional Quality Assurance responsibilities focused on electronics, PCBs, and quality development. The role involves driving supplier quality activities, influencing supplier selection early in the product development process, and ensuring robust quality performance in the supply chain, along with customer-related quality assurance activities within the Quality department.

Responsibilities

• Participate in supplier qualification and selection
• Manage qualification of new or modified parts (PPAP)
• Conduct supplier audits and lead supplier development to improve performance, capability, and compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to influence supplier selection, product quality, and robust processes for new products
• Own and drive customer-related quality cases and coordinate supplier involvement as needed
• Drive problem solving activities and support the organization with relevant quality tools
• Travel to suppliers within and outside Europe

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

• Relevant engineering degree
• At least five years of professional experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, or similar quality role
• Solid knowledge of electronics and a thorough understanding of quality methods and practices such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and Six Sigma
• Understanding of production processes, structured problem solving, and ability to improve quality and productivity through systematic approaches
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and ISO 26262 is advantageous
• Communicative, analytical, structured, and capable of leading projects and collaborating across functions
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
