Job summary

Getinge is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to work from Solna. In this role, you'll manage supplier quality performance and implement improvements across the supply chain. You will work closely with sourcing and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality at all stages.

About this opportunity

You will be part of a team working at the intersection of quality, supply chain, and product development. We collaborate closely with sourcing, manufacturing, and R&D to secure high-quality outcomes across the product lifecycle. We are a cross‑functional team that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across a global supply chain. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to take ownership of selected EMS suppliers, acting as the primary quality interface and driving continuous improvement and long‑term supplier performance.

What you will do

• Identify, analyze, and drive resolution of supplier quality issues
• Validate and assess supplier manufacturing processes and capabilities
• Support development projects and new product introductions at supplier sites
• Drive supplier performance improvements in close collaboration with the Sourcing team
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to enable proactive quality work

You will bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications.

• MSc degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working within supply chain in a quality‑related role, preferably in Supplier Quality Engineering or Assurance
• Solid knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, and CAPA; experience with EMS suppliers and PCB manufacturing processes is a strong advantage
• Good understanding of supply chain processes, quality standards, and business practices within a regulated industry
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus given the international scope of the role
