Erikshjälpen Helsingborg is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our Helsingborg store. You will work with staff and volunteers to ensure the store meets its targets for profit, social impact and environmental goals.

Job description

Supervisor for our store in Helsingborg

Erikshjälpen is currently seeking a Store Manager for our store in Helsingborg. If you want to help realize children’s rights by working on the front lines and leading day‑to‑day operations, this role is for you. This is a permanent position, with a start date in the fall of 2026.

Description of the project

As a supervisor, you’ll be hands‑on and lead the day‑to‑day operations in the store to ensure that established profit, social, and environmental goals are met. No two days are alike. As a supervisor, we expect you to be both flexible and enjoy a varied workload.

Examples of work tasks:
  • As a member of the management team, work alongside the store staff to participate in and lead the day‑to‑day operations of the business.
  • You will act as a supervisor for employees, volunteers and people carrying out work trials, activities or other employment through government agencies.
  • You are responsible, together with the management team, for the sale and display of goods.
  • Together with the management team, you will be responsible for the store during business hours. You will also be in charge of the store on certain weekends.
  • You will report to the Head of Operations.
Qualifications
You are:
  • a relationship builder who is accustomed to interacting with people in various life situations and contexts.

  • open, friendly and has a representative manner with a high sense of service.
  • good at shifting focus between details and the strategic big picture.
You:
  • have a post‑secondary education or other relevant college education, or work experience deemed equivalent.

  • has experience working in a store, preferably in retail.
  • is interested in aid work and working at a thrift store.

It is an advantage if you have:
  • Experience and/or knowledge and interest in social media marketing.
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of appraising secondhand goods.

  • Familiarity with digital systems and the Office suite.

About the workplace

Erikshjälpen is a child rights organisation a nonprofit secondhand business. Together, we share a common vision: a better where children’s dreams come true.

We work to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children’s rights in 16 countries. In Sweden, our work on children’s rights is primarily carried out through Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad, in close collaboration with our secondhand stores. In total, we operate about 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand in Sweden and Norway. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand’s missions is to generate as much surplus possible for the children’s rights organization Erikshjälpen.
