Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Lead Engineer (PME) to head the engineering work for complete substations in Västerås, Sweden. You will lead design and delivery for 10–400 kV installations, coordinating with customers and partners to meet quality, safety, and financial targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, 3–5 years in engineering or project management, and fluency in English and Swedish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of engineering, R&D or project management experience.
• Experience with Medium to High Voltage Projects in Power Systems; site work is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project engineering team to deliver results per contract, quality, and schedule.
• Coordinate with customers, sub-suppliers and internal/external partners.
• Plan engineering resources following Hitachi Energy governance.
• Communicate with all relevant stakeholders and manage risks and opportunities.
