Job description

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Purchaser to drive our strategic agenda going forward. You will be part of a team driving the strategic agenda in relation to key suppliers and technologies for Saab Surveillance’s products.

Your responsibilities will include driving strategic sourcing activities, setting up contractual agreements, sourcing materials and services, and continuously building and improving supplier relationships. You will also be responsible for the performance of the supplier throughout the lifecycle.

Role Responsibilities

A Strategic Purchaser is responsible for driving strategic sourcing activities for the business area’s development projects, ensuring a competitive supplier setup, and securing a successful launch. You will also be responsible for establishing and carrying out a competitive life cycle solution.

Your Profile

We are looking for a committed and driven individual with extensive experience in strategic sourcing, the ability to develop suitable contracts, and experience in driving effective supplier relations. You should have a strong business understanding, customer focus, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
