Job summary

HMS Networks is seeking a Strategic Purchaser to own supplier governance across a broad supplier base, driving cost competitiveness and resilience in the supply chain.

You will lead global negotiations, qualify new suppliers, and work closely with R&D, Operations, and Quality during product development to secure long‑term performance.

This international role can be based in Halmstad, Sweden, or York, USA, offering exposure to a diverse partner network.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive supplier performance.
• Technical aptitude to support product development and supplier discussions.
• Analytical, structured, and proactive mindset—always looking for improvement opportunities.
• Ability to work independently with overall guidance and to influence stakeholders across functions.

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple suppliers across different categories – ensuring performance, compliance, competitiveness, and long‑term partnership development across our global operations.

This is a highly international role where you will collaborate with colleagues, partners, and suppliers around the world to secure long‑term performance, cost competitiveness, and sustainability.
