Job summary

ProPharma is expanding its product lifecycle management group with its newest permanent Project Director to ideally be based in one of our European hubs. This role will start initially as a 1 year fixed term contract full-time; it can be performed largely remote based and will be key in driving the strategic leadership of a variety of key Pharmaceutical Development projects.

This role will engage with key stakeholders; present to c-suite individuals and overall drive the program’s success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in life-sciences or business.
• 10–15+ years’ experience as a Project Director/Program leader in life-sciences.
• Proven experience presenting to c-suite or Director level clients.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and quality focus.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Independent work style and ability to collaborate with local and virtual teams.
• English fluency required; other EU languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, delivery, and communication from scope through implementation.
• Provide strategic direction across multiple projects and align with client objectives.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure delivery against scope, timelines, budget, and quality objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders up to the c-suite.
• Present progress to client leadership and drive program success.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for project success.
• Drive continuous improvement and own program goals.
