Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika is seeking a Factory Supply Chain Manager to secure materials, drive supplier partnerships and optimize supply chain performance for the Transformer Factory.

You will lead a cross-functional SCM team, manage spend with a short and mid-term sourcing strategy, negotiate key contracts, ensure compliance, and collaborate across factories to deliver reliable, cost-effective supply and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Supply Chain Leader, preferably in heavy industry manufacturing.
• Experience in procurement, transportation, and logistics.
• Strong listening, communication and influencing skills to build trust with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and drive continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous.
• English proficiency, written and spoken, is required.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary factory owner for strategic sourcing, ensuring material availability and delivery performance.
• Develop and lead a competent SCM team to support operations.
• Manage spend with short- and mid-term sourcing strategies to meet targets for cost, quality and reliability.
• Select, qualify, and classify suppliers; negotiate and sign key contracts.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal guidelines.
• Apply SCM standards to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with other functions and across factories on backlog, NPI and synergies.
• Align sourcing strategy with PL/Hub; input to BU category teams.
• Monitor tender vs actuals; investigate gaps and take corrective actions.
• Uphold Hitachi Energy values of safety and integrity.
