Job summary

Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) seeks a high-caliber Crisis Manager to lead the emergency response framework for all 47 schools in Sweden. You will coordinate the central crisis team, develop and audit CMPs, and ensure rapid, professional responses to incidents.

Strong PM, communication, and bilingual capabilities are essential for safeguarding students and staff. You will report to the Director of Security & Safety, work primarily from our Stockholm head office, and travel to schools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years in crisis management, emergency services, or corporate security in a multi-site organization.
• Strong English and Swedish written and spoken communication; PM skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary coordinator for the central crisis management team; lead drills and readiness protocols.
• Develop, implement, and audit Crisis Management Plans for HQ and 47 sites.
• Manage strategic planning and readiness protocols under the Security & Safety Director.
• Prepare CMP documentation and post-incident analysis; lead AARs.
• Support schools with preparedness, trainings, and cross-functional collaboration.
