Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Lead Solution Architect for Cloud and Security to shape the future of enterprise connectivity. You will drive the strategy, governance and innovation across a global organization, coordinating with product teams and partners to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will lead development across private Azure, AWS and other clouds, plus on‑prem networks, IPAM and DDI, while guiding AI and automation initiatives and maintaining security standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing core network and security solutions.
• Experience with multicloud access and application connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of global network infrastructure, DDI, IPAM, and security.
• Experience with Azure; knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Automation tech: GitHub Actions, Terraform, shell scripting, YAML, APIs, CI/CD and SQL.
• Experience using Claude or similar AI platforms for programming in Python.
• Security requirements and compliance standards (ISO27001, NIST, NIS2, etc.).
• University IT degree and excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technological function roadmap for enterprise connectivity.
• Translate business demand into priorities and backlog decisions.
• Design and present solutions that address technical, functional and financial requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, including design, functional output and implementation plans.
• Govern partner-delivered services through clear acceptance criteria, QA and delivery follow‑up.
• Manage service scope, operational boundaries and service catalogue governance.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost management and innovation across IT and OT connectivity services.
• Identify and capture usecases for AI and automation implementation, driving a rapid increase in machine‑based operations of the area.
• Contribute to building a high performing team in a global virtual team structure.
• Act in advisory capacity across Sandvik functions on topics relating to your area.
