Job summary

SSAB is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Architect to shape and secure its digital future. You will define and evolve our cybersecurity architecture, standards, and security requirements, collaborating closely with technology teams and suppliers to enable secure cloud adoption and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in cybersecurity architecture, cloud security, infrastructure architecture, or software/security engineering.
• Proven ability to translate security requirements into actionable guidance for architects and developers.
• Fluent English; Nordic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain SSAB's cybersecurity architecture strategy and target-state.
• Establish security standards, reference architectures, and embed Secure-by-Design in transformation programs.
• Review cloud, application, identity, network, infrastructure, and OT architectures.
• Lead threat modelling, architecture assessments, and design reviews.
• Identify gaps and guide remediation of vulnerabilities and technical debt.
• Develop cybersecurity requirements for secure software development and DevSecOps.
• Support Zero Trust, identity governance, cloud security, and emerging tech initiatives.
• Collaborate with suppliers, architects, and engineering teams to implement security controls.
