Job summary

A leading European energy company is seeking a Category Manager to join their procurement team. This role involves strategic management for Field Services, ensuring operational reliability and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in procurement, strong supplier engagement abilities, and excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English. You will drive the development of category strategies and secure important framework agreements, contributing to the energy transition in the region.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ experience as Senior Buyer or Category Manager.
• Experience from manufacturing, energy, utilities or infrastructure industries.
• Understanding of EU procurement law.
• Experience working with framework agreements and delivery management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of category strategies for Field Services.
• Collaborate closely with Distribution Sweden stakeholders.
• Conduct demand and market analyses to support decision-making.
• Secure framework agreements that meet operational, technical and regulatory requirements.
