Job summary

OSTTRA Group, based in Stockholm, is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to shape the architecture and drive engineering excellence across front-end and back-end systems. You will own technical decisions, mentor a high-performing team, and partner with product and vendor teams to align engineering with business goals.

You will lead initiatives around scalable architecture, CI/CD, observability, and AI-enabled engineering practices while working in a collaborative, autonomous environment that values

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack software development experience with deep backend and frontend knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience leading software engineering teams and delivering through others.
• Ability to translate complex business/financial requirements into scalable software architectures.
• Ownership mindset for full software lifecycle—design, deployment, observability, and production support.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• On-site collaboration at Stockholm office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end accountability for architecture, security, scalability, and operational health of core platform.
• Define and enforce standards for clean code, architecture, automated testing, and CI/CD across front-end and back-end.
• Coach, mentor, and grow engineers, promoting psychological safety, learning, and high performance.
• Partner with product management, enterprise architecture, and tech vendors to align engineering strategy with business goals.
• Lead production operations and participate in on-call rotations to maintain high availability.
