Lendo in Stockholm is seeking a Staff Engineer to shape the technical direction and architecture across Product & Tech. You will work with senior stakeholders and be part of the leadership, influencing both technology and how engineering works.

This role sits at the intersection of hands-on coding and strategic decisions, mentoring engineers, aligning across teams, and exploring AI and modern technologies to create business value.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software engineering or architecture.
• Strong knowledge of modern software architecture and cross-team work.
• Experience with cloud environments (GCP) and Kubernetes/Terraform.
• Experience with Golang, TypeScript and/or React.
• Ability to move between strategic discussions and hands-on engineering.
• Strong communication and the ability to translate complex topics into decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve technical strategy and architecture across Product & Tech.
• Set direction across multiple agile teams and align architecture.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross-team technical initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product to turn business needs into scalable solutions.
• Stay hands-on through coding, prototyping and problem-solving.
