Job summary

Lendo, a fintech company in Stockholm, is seeking a Staff Engineer to shape technology direction across Product & Tech. You will influence architecture, standards and engineering practices while remaining hands-on when needed.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive the technology roadmap and mentor engineers across backend and frontend. This is a unique chance to impact multiple teams and advance a modern, product-driven tech organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software engineering, architecture or a similar senior role.
• Strong knowledge of modern software architecture and multi-team collaboration.
• Experience with cloud environments (ideally GCP) and Kubernetes/Terraform.
• Experience or strong understanding of Golang, TypeScript and/or React.
• The ability to move between strategic discussions and hands-on engineering.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve technical strategy, architecture, and engineering standards.
• Set direction across multiple agile teams and align around architecture and ways of working.
• Mentor engineers and act as a technical sounding board across backend and frontend.
• Collaborate with Product early to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.
• Support resilience, security, and major technical incidents; partner with Data/ML teams.
