Job summary

SSC Space, expanding its Systems Engineering team, seeks engineers for satellite communications. The role involves leading mission integration, improving systems, and acting as SME in customer discussions. The position requires strong technical skills and experience with both hardware and software systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering, space technology or similar.
• Excellent technical skills and a desire to learn in the growing space industry.
• Ability to communicate complex technical solutions clearly and effectively.
• Experience with hardware and software systems (ground infrastructure, RF systems, software‑defined mission solutions).

Responsibilities

• Lead development and integration of customers’ space missions into our service system, ensuring efficient and reliable communications.
• Work on development projects to improve systems, capabilities, and service offerings.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert in discussions with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive projects, analyses and technical investigations.
• Provide technical support to sales in bids and proposals.
