Job summary

SSC Space in Solna/Kiruna (Sweden) is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to support regulatory and licensing activities for orbital launch ambitions and launch services. You will contribute to license applications, regulatory analysis, and develop processes for future operations in a collaborative, international environment.

You should have a university degree in Law or related field, up to three years of experience, and excellent written and verbal communication in Swedish and English.

Qualifications

• University degree in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, European Studies or related field.
• Up to three years of relevant experience or fresh graduates with strong credentials and interest in regulatory affairs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Swedish and English.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills with ability to translate complex requirements into practical actions and decision material.
• Interest in legislation, licensing, compliance and international regulatory frameworks.
• Structured, proactive and collaborative approach; able to work independently while coordinating stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regulatory and licensing activities related to SSC Space orbital launch ambitions and launch services.
• Prepare, manage and follow up license applications for launch vehicles and payloads.
• Develop regulatory processes, governance structures and compliance frameworks for future operations.
• Monitor and communicate national and international regulations affecting launch services, satellite operations and export control.
• Serve as SSC Space point of contact towards authorities and international regulatory organizations.
• Support customers and internal stakeholders with licensing requirements and regulatory compliance throughout projects.
