Job summary

SSC Space is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join our Orbital Launch & Rocket Test team in Kiruna. You will contribute to licensing, regulatory analysis and process development for future launch operations.

The role requires a degree in law or related field and up to three years of regulatory experience, with strong Swedish and English communication. You will collaborate with authorities and international partners across projects.

Qualifications

• University degree in law or related field.
• Up to three years of relevant experience or recently graduated with strong credentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Swedish and English.
• Interest in legislation, licensing, compliance and international regulatory frameworks.
• Structured, proactive and collaborative approach; able to work independently with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in aerospace, defence, export control or regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regulatory and licensing activities related to SSC Space orbital launch ambitions and launch services.
• Prepare, manage and follow up license applications for launch vehicles, payloads and related activities.
• Develop and establish regulatory processes, governance structures and compliance frameworks.
• Monitor, interpret and communicate national and international regulations affecting launch services and export control.
• Serve as SSC Space point of contact towards authorities, government agencies and international regulators.
• Support customers and internal stakeholders on licensing requirements throughout project lifecycles.
