Job summary

SSC Space is seeking a Business Development Director to lead global BD efforts for orbital launch services from Esrange Space Center. You will build and manage relationships with international customers, partners, and stakeholders, driving opportunities across civil, commercial and defense sectors.

The role requires strong negotiation, presentation and strategic selling capabilities, with fluency in English and Swedish.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in aerospace, space engineering, or related field, or equivalent mix of technical education and commercial experience.
• Experience in business development, sales or account management in tech-intensive industries.
• Proven ability to build credibility with international customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive global business development and sales for orbital launch services and payload opportunities.
• Identify, engage and develop relationships with international commercial, institutional, civil and defense customers.
• Lead customer engagement, understand mission requirements, and coordinate responses.
• Develop customer value propositions, strategies and sales materials with internal teams.
• Support negotiations, proposals and contract preparation with cross-functional groups.
• Represent SSC Space at international events and monitor market trends for opportunities.
