Assignment Description

We are looking for a Solution Architect/Requirements Analyst for a client in the public sector.

Background & Project Context

  • Many of the client's current processes are manual, person-dependent, and resource-intensive.
  • The organization is growing and reorganizing into larger regional units to enhance the capacity for complex, large-scale operations.
  • There is a clear need to digitize and streamline workflows with purpose-fit tools to ensure compliance with legal requirements and effective delivery using the current workforce.
  • Several digital transformation projects are being initiated to modernize operations over the coming years.

Purpose & Objective of the Assignment

We seek an experienced consultant with expertise in solution architecture and requirements analysis to contribute to two key projects:

  • PRISMA: Simplify and streamline workforce planning and scheduling processes with appropriate digital solutions.
  • MOA: Implement systems and tailored workflows for authority matters and automatic alarms.

You will be part of an architecture team that also supports other ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture and requirement efforts within and between projects.
  • Describe current-state architecture (information and applications).
  • Define non-functional requirements.
  • Evaluate solution alternatives including deployment options and target architecture.
  • Create architectural roadmaps to support project planning.
  • Drive functional and non-functional requirement gathering and documentation.
  • Participate in procurement activities.
  • Support and review implementation from an architectural perspective (including exception handling).
  • Contribute to the development of architectural knowledge and documentation within the team.

Scope & Deliverables

  • Deliver a complete architectural description in accordance with the client's ADD methodology.
  • Support procurement, system integration, and architectural governance during implementation.
  • Assist the architecture team in developing reusable assets and knowledge.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years documented experience in solution architecture, covering all architecture layers (business, information, application, infrastructure).
  • Minimum 5 years documented experience translating business needs and processes into functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in requirements analysis and specification, including system integrations.
  • Experience in information and data modeling.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between application architecture and IT infrastructure.
  • Practical experience with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Experience with information security in architecture and knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills in Swedish, both written and spoken.
  • Academic degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area (e.g., system development, IT, data science).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, requirements specification, and evaluation.
  • Experience in technical design and implementing integration solutions.
  • Experience working within public sector or highly regulated environments.
