Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting is seeking a Senior SAP Solution Architect to lead architecture and transformation for Insurance, Reinsurance and Finance domains in a fixed-term contract in Stockholm. You will define target architectures, evaluate integration complexities, and drive the transformation roadmap in collaboration with business and technical teams.

The role requires 12–18 years SAP experience, strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, and experience with Brownfield/Bluefield strategies.

Job Description

Requirements

• 12–18 years of SAP experience, with significant experience in solution architecture.
  
• The SAP Solution Architect will lead the architecture and solution definition for a pre-study focused on SAP Insurance, Reinsurance (RI), FS-CD, and Finance transformation.
  
• Define the target architecture, system conversion approach, and overall transformation roadmap while assessing the existing SAP landscape, integrations, data, and custom developments.
  
• Lead solution architecture across SAP Insurance, Reinsurance, FS-CD, and Finance domains.
  
• Define the overall transformation strategy, including Brownfield and Bluefield approaches.
  
• Conduct detailed assessments of the existing SAP system landscape, architecture, and integrations.
  
• Define recommendations for the target architecture and future-state system landscape.
  
• Assess integration complexities across SAP RI, FS-CD, and SAP Finance.
  
• Analyze the impact of custom code, data migration, reporting, and existing business processes.
  
• Evaluate integration, data migration, and technical dependencies as part of the transformation assessment.
  
• Support the development of the Bill of Materials (BoM), transformation roadmap, and build-readiness outputs.
  
• Ensure alignment with SAP Clean Core principles and transformation best practices.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, and project leadership to validate proposed solutions.
  
• Provide architectural guidance and recommendations throughout the pre-study and transformation planning phases.
  
• Deep expertise in SAP Insurance solutions, particularly Reinsurance (RI) and FS-CD.
  
• Strong knowledge of SAP Finance, FICO, and S/4HANA Finance.
  
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA conversion and transformation programs.
  
• Strong understanding of system integration, data migration, custom code assessment, and Clean Core principles.
  
• Experience working within the BFSI/Insurance industry and understanding of relevant regulatory environments.
  
• Strong experience in defining transformation strategies, target architectures, and implementation roadmaps.
  
• Swedish language skills are an advantage.
  
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• SAP certifications in Finance or Insurance modules are preferred.
  
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and architectural decision-making skills.
