Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Solution Architect Engineer to join our Nordic Power Systems team in Sweden. This strategic role focuses on the Infrastructure (Power & Grid) and Data Center segments, supporting customers in designing, modernizing, and digitizing their electrical distribution and energy management systems.

As a Solution Architect Engineer, you will transform customer requirements into innovative, reliable, and cost-effective technical architectures. Working closely with customers, consultants, utilities, and internal stakeholders, you will help define and promote best-in-class solutions based on Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure™ platform and power distribution portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate customer business and technical requirements into scalable, efficient, and low-risk electrical distribution architectures.
  • Design comprehensive Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) solutions for infrastructure, utility, grid, and data center applications.
  • Leverage Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure™ architecture, software, and digital technologies to create differentiated customer value.
Drive Technical Influence and Customer Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with customers' engineering and technical teams, consultants, utilities, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Influence specifications and project requirements during the early stages of project development.
  • Develop technical proposals and reference architectures aligned with customer objectives and industry best practices.
  • Promote Schneider Electric's value proposition through innovative and sustainable energy solutions.
Support Business Growth
  • Partner with Account Managers to qualify opportunities and define winning technical strategies.
  • Identify emerging market trends, customer challenges, and new business opportunities.
  • Represent Schneider Electric at customer events, industry conferences, technical seminars, demonstrations, and workshops.
  • Support the introduction of new solutions and architectures tailored to the Infrastructure, Power & Grid, and Data Center markets.
Collaborate Across the Organization
  • Lead technical qualification activities for offers, solutions, and reference architectures.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leaders, Application Engineers, and segment experts across the organization.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of Schneider Electric's technical expertise and customer-facing solutions.
Essential Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Solid experience in MV and LV electrical distribution systems and architectures.
  • Strong understanding of power system design, protection, control, and energy distribution solutions.
  • Proven experience working with infrastructure, utility, grid, industrial, or data center power systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Swedish grid requirements, regulations, grid connection processes, and applicable standards is mandatory.
  • Ability to engage confidently with customers, consultants, utilities, and technical decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Data Center electrical infrastructure and critical power systems.
  • Knowledge of digital power technologies, monitoring systems, SCADA, Energy Management Systems (EMS), or IoT-enabled solutions.
  • Familiarity with BIM, CAD, electrical design, planning, and calculation tools.
  • Interest in digitalization, AI-driven solutions, and the future of smart electrical networks.
