Job summary

Swedium Global Services AB is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Switches in Gothenburg. You will lead SW development, coordinating with suppliers and in-house teams to deliver HAL and application software, define component requirements, and ensure conformance to time plans.

The role requires hands-on C/C++ experience, knowledge of cyber security (TARA), and functional safety (ISO 26262). You will collaborate with multiple interfaces and drive design and diagnostics across the SW chain.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or computer science or equivalent.

Job Title -Software Responsible - Switches

We have an exciting future ahead of us where the Switches develop at a fast pace and with changing design and technology.

Switches team belongs to Interior Systems where we develop the Displays, Power Outlets, Illumination, Roof Zone content and Switches.

You with be joining As a Lead Software Engineer with good hands on experience with C/C++ along with cyber security(TARA),and Functional saftey(ISO 26262)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will work as Software responsible within our development teams. In this team this role also includes some parts that typically are designated as system design, such as breaking down stakeholder requirements to component requirements but also creating component specific requirements, defining signals as well as diagnostics.

As SW responsible, your responsibility is to lead the SW development done by our suppliers, as well as application (HAL) SW made by our in-house SW developers. The SW responsible will be the main driver from breaking down component requirements, collecting stakeholder requirements and then compiling the SW requirements specification (internal as well as for suppliers). This role is in close collaboration with your team, from project leaders to SW testing. You will also have a close collaboration with our supplier to make sure that we follow the set time plans and to agree with specifications when we source new suppliers. With many interfaces, external as well as internal, this is a demanding but rewarding position.

• A degree of M.Sc or B.Sc in electrical or computer science, or equivalent technical training

• More than 5 years of experience from working within Automotive, within Volvo is an advantage
• Understanding of base tech requirements
• Experience in software requirement management, including breaking down requirements (PC – product capabilities), creating requirements, creating requirements structure as well as creating your own component requirements (Car Weaver)
• Experience in signals creation and management: LIN, CAN, Ethernet (Electra, SDB)
• Experience in designing diagnostics (robust DTC’s, Carcom), , including creating your own component diagnostics requirements
• Experience in tools like Car Weaver, Electra,
• Experience in Functional & System Safety (QM/ASIL)
• Experience in Cyber security (TARA)
• Experience in inhouse SW ASPICE/SUMS/SS/CS compliance
• Experience from SW architect tasks, such as SWAD and HAL SW topology work (interface, communication, SW allocation etc.)
• Experience from ASPICE & SUMS
• Experience from HW development is meritorious
• Experience in software testing and quality assurance is meritorious
• Experience from haptics & switch development is meritorious
