You will join the Software unit within SSC Connect, responsible for developing and maintaining critical systems required to connect our customers with their satellites.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard new engineering talent, providing training, coaching, and mentorship to help team members develop their skills.
• Foster a positive team culture rooted in collaboration, innovation, and trust, empowering team members.
• Support and coach teams in Agile methodologies, helping them adopt best practices and continually improve workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise, staying up to date with industry trends, reviewing technical designs and solutions.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements and implement quality assurance processes.
• Handle escalations and critical incidents effectively, providing leadership and support to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions.
• Contribute to strategic planning initiatives, offering insights and recommendations on technology trends, market opportunities, and product innovation.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in recruiting, onboarding, and nurturing engineering talent, with experience in team development and mentorship.
• Well‑versed in Agile methodologies and able to support teams in adopting best practices and refining workflows.
• Background in software development with strong technical expertise.
• Understanding of quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineering Manager.
• 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
• Master’s or PhD in a technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• European citizenship.
• Background control and security interview required.
• Occasional travelling within and outside Sweden.
