STMicroelectronics in Sweden is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the STM32Cube ecosystem. You will help develop building blocks, participate in an agile team, and support tools used by millions of STM32 users, including STM32CubeMX2 and STM32CubeIDE.

A degree in CS/SE and strong backend skills are required. The role emphasizes Rust, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, Git, Linux, and collaborative engineering across ST sites in Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Strong foundations in software development and backend systems.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for deeply understanding technical topics.
• Ability to work in a rigorous, structured, and organized manner.
• Initiative, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Comfortable working in a team environment with good communication skills.
• Experience with, or strong interest in: Rust and/or C++, JavaScript / TypeScript, STM32Cube Ecosystem.
• Knowledge of: Git and software development workflows, Linux or cross-platform environments, Agile development methodologies.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in French and Arabic are beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain backend and core software components for STM32 tools.
• Implement features and enhancements in Rust, C++, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Perform in-depth analysis of complex technical issues, identify root causes, and propose robust solutions.
• Contribute to tooling infrastructures (package management, configurations, internal APIs).
• Work in a structured and methodical manner, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews).
• Conduct code reviews, write automated tests, and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with teams across multiple ST sites (Sweden, France, etc.).
