Job summary

IKEA Malmö, Sweden invites you to join a cross‑functional Software Engineer team within the Digital Product Area Range Core - Requirements and Compliance. You’ll help modernize our landscape and build digital solutions across the stack, from backend services and APIs to web apps and user experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience building software solutions, with strengths in frontend, backend, or across the full stack.
• Experience with backend development using C#/.NET and REST APIs and/or frontend development using React, TypeScript or similar technologies.
• A good understanding of software design, data modelling, relational databases and building reliable, maintainable solutions.
• An ability to understand complex problems, break them down into manageable parts and work with others to find practical solutions.
• Experience with software testing and modern development practices, such as version control, continuous integration and automated delivery.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, GCP or AWS is valuable, but not essential.
• A collaborative mindset, curiosity and an interest in learning, sharing knowledge and improving together with your team.
• An interest in understanding the wider product and contributing beyond your main area of expertise.
