Job summary

Riverty is hiring a Software Engineer to join our Tallinn/Varberg team on a full-time basis. You will build and maintain Back Office applications within an agile product development environment.

You will drive frontend component development, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and architects to deliver scalable solutions. Fluency in English is expected, with a focus on delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Experience with REST API front-end development.
• Proficient with Angular; working knowledge of StencilJS.
• Strong C# / .NET framework experience.
• Experience with Cloud (Azure preferred) and event-driven architectures.
• Experience in working in an Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of different frontend components for the product.
• Contribute to architectural design of web applications within a cross-functional team.
• Collaborate with product owner, UX/UI designer, architects and other roles to discover the right solution.
• Identify issues and propose improvements to existing and new features.
• Evaluate new technologies and concepts for the product.

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer (m/f/d) (unlimited, full-time) to join our team located in Tallinn, Varberg.

Role

In this role, you will be a software development expert in an agile product development team, building and maintaining Back Office applications. On daily basis you will:

• Driving the development of different application components for the product
• Participating in the architectural design efforts of web applications as part of a cross-functional team
• Collaborating with product owner, UX/UI designer, architects and other roles in order to discover the right solution
• Identifying issues, suggesting improvements to existing and new features, presenting and sharing ideas for solutions
• Seeking, evaluating, and recommending new technologies and concepts
• Adapt new technical trends in web application to support product’s quality
• Take initiative to improve quality across different aspects of frontend: accessibility, performance, consistency, maintainability, robustness, etc
• Participate and follow maintenance processes (incident, problem, event as applicable)
• Work in a distributed organization with agile processes

Qualifications

We seek a skilled engineer with proven track record of successful front-end projects and back-end capabilities. You will be a good fit for the role if you are:

• Experienced in utilizing REST API web services in Front-End Development
• Experienced in modern web component frameworks, with strong expertise in Angular and working knowledge of StencilJS,
• Demonstrate the ability to design and implement reusable, performant UI components
• Highly skilled in C# / .NET framework
• Experienced with Cloud Development (Azure would be a bonus) and event-driven architecture-based solutions
• Possess knowledge of Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Test Automation
• Experience in working in an Agile team
• Passionate about building unique customer journeys

As a person, you are self-driven and have proactive and can-do attitude. You know how to communicate with different businesses and tech stakeholders. You do speak English fluently.
