Job summary

Google in Stockholm is looking for a Software Engineer III to work on Google Meet Web Experiences. You will design and implement features for the Meet web client, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality UI at scale.

The role requires 2 years of frontend/UI development experience, strong TypeScript skills, and familiarity with web applications and test automation. Mid-level leadership and mentoring are expected as you help evolve the product.

Mid

Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.

In most instances, this position requires in‑person interviews as part of the hiring process.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with front‑end and user interface development.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience with TypeScript, Web Applications and Test Automation.

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience working cross‑functionally on product/feature launches.
• Experience with Google server‑side frameworks such as Apps Framework.
• Previous experience with Google client‑side frameworks: Wiz, Soy and GSS.
• Proficient in Java and Typescript.
