Job summary

Google Meet Video is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of Software Engineers working on mobile and full-blast development for media AI and platform integration. You will guide the team, own project goals and contribute to product strategy while ensuring code quality and scalable design.

With experience partnering across Google teams, you will drive release cadence, foster a healthy team culture, and help grow engineers across multiple sites internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Own the direction and execution for your team, including the team's goal and roadmap.
• Drive and develop the collaboration with partner teams within Google such as GDM, CoreML, Android/Pixel.
• Establish new processes and improve the existing ones to ensure a healthy release cadence.
• Nurture a healthy team culture, while coaching and growing a talented team of engineers.
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.

Education

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.

Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
