Job summary

EG is seeking a Backend Developer to join the Mestro platform team in Stockholm. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services powering the platform, collaborating with product owners, architects, and frontend developers to deliver robust solutions.

You should have 3–5 years of backend experience, strong Java, MS SQL, and Azure knowledge, plus Kubernetes experience. You’ll write clean, tested code, participate in reviews, and help drive architectural decisions in a fast-paced

Your Tasks: Develop, Deploy, and Drive Backend Excellence

As a Backend Developer, you will be part of the team that designs, develops, and maintains the backend systems powering the Mestro platform. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and frontend developers to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals.

You Are The Ideal Candidate If You

• Have 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Have good knowledge of Java, MS SQL, and Azure.
• Have Experience working with Kubernetes.
• Have Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and modern software architecture.
• Are Comfortable participating in code reviews.
• Have Good communication skills in English.

Nice To Have

• Experience with microservice architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Background in energy management or data analytics domains.
