Job summary

ESAB Welding & Cutting GmbH in Gothenburg, Sweden, is seeking a Software Developer to design, implement and maintain embedded Linux software for connectivity across ESAB equipment and InduSuite. You will work closely with R&D, cloud representatives and architecture owners in a collaborative, international environment.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure software with robust programming practices, integration with CI/CD pipelines, and contribution to product enhancements and new offerings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software design experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++17/20).
• Experience with embedded Linux and Linux platform components.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT, REST).

Today, we continue to develop advanced welding and cutting solutions that help shape the future of manufacturing worldwide.Gothenburg, SwedenPosition OverviewWe are looking for a Software Developer to support the design, development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of software solutions for product enhancements and new products.You will join our Digital Solution Connectivity team and develop the embedded software platform that connects ESAB equipment to our InduSuite system.The role focuses on developing connectivity solutions and embedded software with performance, reliability, and scalability in mind.
